Brief Resume

Ozge OZDEMIR OZGUMUS was born in Istanbulin 1981. She graduated from the Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2004 with a second degree. After graduation, she worked as a Research Engineer for ITU ROTAM (Rotorcraft Design and Excellence Center) for a year and she got educated about helicopter aeroelasticity in the Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Aerospace Engineering. In 2005, she started her career as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics. While working as a research assistant, she received her master degree in 2006 and her doctorate degree in 2012. In 2009, she carried out research activities related to helicopter aeroelasticity, smart materials and nonlinear beam theory in Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Aerospace Engineering as a visiting scholar for 9 months and worked with Prof. Dr. Dewey Hodges. She was supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) during her master and doctorate studies. Additionally, she carried her research activities in USA with the help of the scholarship given by the Turkish National Scholarship Programme of TUBITAK for PhD Students. Her main research areas are
