Brief Resume


Emre Koyuncu is a HALA!-SESAR PhD Fellow and Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. He is also a research assistant in the Controls and Avionics Lab. coordinated by Prof. Gokhan Inalhan in Istanbul Technical University. He received my B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2005 and M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2008.

His research interests focus on briefly; Developing computationally efficient motion planning algorithms for vehicles have complex dynamics (mobile robots, agile aerial vehicles etc.) and move in complex environments, high-level autonomous air traffic control system, airborne conflict avoidance and resolution algorithms, flight-deck decision support systems, maneuver automata, event driven and hybrid approaches, developing guidance and navigation hardware/software for autonomous systems, cooperated/un-cooperated multi-agent systems, game theoretic applications.
